The Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (JADCO) is proud to announce its upcoming Health and Wellness Fair, scheduled for Friday, May 30, 2025, as part of its continued commitment to promoting health, wellness, and informed living among Jamaicans.
This is the third annual staging of the health and wellness fair, and underscores JADCO’s ongoing effort to raise awareness about anti-doping and the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy sporting environment in Jamaica.
The theme of this year’s Health and Wellness Fair is: “Healthy Choices: Wellness Beyond Sport– Your Responsibility,” and the event will bring together a wide range of partners who are leaders in healthcare, wellness, and consumer advocacy. Participating organisations include KG Wellness, Pure Smiles, the Centre for HIV/AIDS Research and Education Services, LASCO Distributors, the National Health Fund, Jamaica Athletes Insurance Plan, FISH Clinic, and the Consumer Affairs Commission.
Attendees will benefit from free health screenings, dental checks, product samples, wellness and nutrition consultations, and informational resources aimed at encouraging a healthier lifestyle. “We believe that overall wellness is fundamental to performance, both on and off the field,” said Mrs. June Spence Jarrett, JADCO’s Executive Director. “Through this Health and Wellness Fair, we aim to provide accessible health services and critical information that empowers individuals to take charge of their well-being.”
The JADCO Health and Wellness Fair is open to the public, and all are invited to attend and take advantage of the services being offered.
