ANTI-DOPING APPEAL TRIBUNAL

The Anti-Doping Appeal Tribunal is independent of JADCO and appointed by the Minister of Sport. Each member holds office for a period of three years. The Appeal Tribunal’s purpose is to hear and determine the outcome of issues arising from decisions made by the Independent Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel.

The Appeal Tribunal consists of seven persons, including a Chairman and Vice-Chairman, who have both served as either Judge of the Court of Appeal or of the Supreme Court. The Tribunal may also include persons who have served in the post of Director of Public Prosecutions or a senior member of staff of the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, a person who has served as a sports administrator for at least ten years or someone who has been involved in sports medicine for at least ten years.
