TESTING POOLS

The Registered Testing Pool (RTP) is the group of highest-priority athletes established separately by each International Federation and National Anti-Doping Organisation, who are subject to both in-competition and out-of-competition testing.

Under the World Anti-Doping Programme, each national anti-doping organisation must designate a pool of athletes who are subject to the highest level of Anti-Doping Rules. JADCO is responsible for establishing and maintaining Jamaica’s Registered Testing Pool.

Athletes included in JADCO’s RTP are more likely to be tested and have more stringent requirements under the JADCO rules as it relates to the submission of their whereabouts information.

All athletes listed below have been included in JADCO’s Registered Testing Pool and therefore must make quarterly whereabouts filings.

Please note that, at the discretion of JADCO, athletes can be added or removed from the RTP at any time. Should an athlete’s status change, they will be notified.

Lower Testing Pool (LTP) and Criteria

At a minimum, the whereabouts information shall include an overnight address, competition schedule and regular training activities.

Team Testing Pool (LTP) and Criteria
The Team Testing Pool (TTP) includes national teams and the highest priority teams of certain sport identified by JADCO, who are subject to both in-competition and out-of-competition testing. All teams of National Associations/Federations who have been identified by JADCO for inclusion in the TTP are required to provide accurate whereabouts information on their current location prior to participating in an event. This whereabouts information must be submitted by a representative of the Association/Federation.
