Athletes and athlete support personnel from schools in Portland, St. Mary and St. Ann listen attentively as Marcia Swyer-Forbes, Chairperson, Education Sub-Committee, Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) makes a presentation on The Role of Support Staff at a Junior Athletes Anti-Doping Education Workshop, which was held at held at Tropical Lagoon Resort in Portland on Wednesday, March 19, 2014. JADCO collaborated with the JAAA to host the final in the series of five workshops which were held islandwide. As a result of the workshop, participants were able to increase their knowledge of the role of JADCO, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the Jamaica Anti-Doping Programme. They were also informed of the Doping Control Process, banned substances and the role of support staff.
