PARTIAL SAMPLE COLLECTION PROCESS

The occasion was the Junior Athletes Anti-Doping Education Workshop for athletes and athlete support personnel from schools in St. Catherine and Clarendon, which was held on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at the G.C. Foster College of Physical Education and Sport. JADCO is stepping up its public education initiatives during the month of October by hosting five Junior Athletes Anti-Doping Education Workshops across the island.As a result of the workshop, participants were able to increase their knowledge of the role of JADCO, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the Jamaica Anti-Doping Programme. They were also informed of the doping control process, banned substances and the importance of proper nutrition.
