The workshop, held on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, targeted junior athletes and athlete support personnel from schools in Portland, St. Mary and St. Ann. During the month of October, JADCO hosted five Junior Athletes Anti-Doping Education Workshops across the island.As a result of the workshop, participants were able to increase their knowledge of the role of JADCO, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the Jamaica Anti-Doping Programme. They were also informed of the doping control process, banned substances and the importance of proper nutrition.
