JADCO SYMPOSIUM- ANTI-DOPING PARTNERSHIPS

JA(L-r) Kerwin Clarke, Manager, NADO/RADO Relations at the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), Karine Henrie, Manager, Anti-Doping Initiatives at the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES), Carey Brown, Executive Director, Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (JADCO) and Dr. Alfred Dawes, President of the Jamaica Medical Doctors’ Association (JMDA) discuss the need for increased partnership between all stakeholders in the anti-doping community. The occasion was the JADCO Symposium held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the Jamaica Conference Centre (JCC) in Kingston. The symposium targeted athlete support personnel from sporting associations and federations as well as secondary school principals. The symposium sought to update participants about the revised World Anti-Doping Code, the Anti-Doping in Sport Act, 2014 and the 2015 Anti-Doping Rules. The symposium was supported by WADA and CCES.
